10th Indian Pharma Expo held in Delhi

The event helped the industry to understand the challenges and changes, unique ideas, innovation and execution, cost-effective production techniques, procurement, logistics and more

The Indian Pharma Expo 2021 was held on 10th and 11th December at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The 10th edition was inaugurated by Dr Sushil Kumar Gupta, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Aam Admi Party; Surendra Rathi, Member, National Council, Aam Admi Party; Ashok Shrivastav, senior journalist and Joe Thomas, Business Director, India Operations, CIMS Medica India, among others.

As the pandemic has changed the dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry as a whole, this event helped the industry to understand the challenges and changes, unique ideas, innovation and execution, cost-effective production techniques, procurement, logistics and more.

This expo witnessed the latest advancement and innovation in manufacturing, research and development, packaging solutions, supply chain management, franchising, distribution and many other domains. Additionally, this expo has contributed in helping stakeholders of the pharma industry to build new business leads and boost revenue potentials.

The Business Excellence Awards was held on 10th December in the presence of Dr Rajeev Singh Raghuwanshi, Secretary/ Scientific Director, Indian Pharmacopeia Commission and Atul Nasa, Head of Office/Controlling and Licensing Authority and Deputy Drugs Controller with Drugs Control Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, along with Thomas.

The Business Excellence Awards felicitates the business that brought innovation and freshness in the pharma industry. The winners are selected in the fields of Research and Development (R&D), Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), formulations, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, marketing, franchising, outsourcing, supply chain and logistics management, and other support services.
