Lupin launches triple-combination MDI for COPD in India
Formoflo-G MDI combines Glycopyrronium Bromide, Formoterol Fumarate and Fluticasone Propionate for the management and treatment of moderate to severe COPD
Lupin has launched Formoflo-G MDI, the world’s first fixed-dose triple combination metered-dose inhaler (MDI) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in India, following approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI).
Lupin Formoflo-G is a first-of-its-kind MDI that combines Glycopyrronium Bromide, Formoterol Fumarate and Fluticasone Propionate for the long-term management and treatment of moderate to severe COPD. The product is available as a twice-daily, single-strength fixed dose, bringing hope to more than 55 million people living with COPD in India, a condition that remains a leading cause of death and disability.
