The World Packaging Organisation (WPO) is organising a press conference at IPACK-IMA in Italy from 3rd to 6th May.
During the press conference, Pierre Pienaar, President, WPO, will give an overview of the situation of the packaging industry around the globe, covering some aspects of COVID-19, as well as the various projects that WPO has been working on in the past two years. He will also approach some future plans.
Apart from it, Valerio Soli, President, IPACK-IMA, will highlight the collaboration between IPACK IMA and WPO and the international feature of the show, and Soha Atallah, VP, WPO and WorldStar Coordinator, will give a teaser about the main innovations to be seen among WorldStar winners that will be announced in a physical ceremony on 4th May during IPACK IMA.
In addition, Nerida Kelton, VP, Sustainability and Save Food, WPO, will also participate in the press conference to formally launch the ‘Waste Stream Mapping Guides’ project as a part of the ‘Global Packaging Design for Recycling Guide’ programme.
