Pivot Path has appointed pharma veteran Mukta Arora as an Independent Director.
Arora is a gold medallist from the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research and holds an Executive MBA from IIM Bangalore. She has held senior leadership roles at Eli Lilly, Elanco and Astellas Pharma, where she has focused on building and scaling global capability centres, managing regulated operations and driving cross-border initiatives.
At Eli Lilly, Arora set up the Lilly Capability Centre India, while at Elanco she established the Innovation and Alliance Centre. She currently serves as Managing Director of Astellas Pharma’s Global Capability Centre. Her experience spans FDA audits, EMA requirements, major product launches, validated processes, global operations and strategic alliances.
She has also held industry-level board roles with organisations including OPPI, CII, NASSCOM and the Biotechnology Vision Group.
The appointment comes at an interesting stage in Pivot Path’s evolution. The company grew out of ArcoLab, an internal capability and operations engine created within Strides Pharma, before becoming an independent, technology-led life sciences business. Today, Pivot Path focuses on using technology, platforms and domain expertise to address operational and compliance challenges faced by global pharma companies.
Arora’s experience closely aligns with this evolution, bringing an operator’s perspective on how global pharma organisations build capabilities, manage regulatory complexity and implement solutions across markets.
