Merck India is organising 10th Merck Bioforum India 2022 in Pune on 6th September, and in Ahmedabad on 8th September. The event is a thought leadership programme, which is a part of the flagship Asia seminar series that Merck Life Sciences has been organising annually, a statement from Merck said.
It said that this year, the focus of the conference is on “Next Generation Bioprocessing for Process Intensification.” This is an annual knowledge-sharing platform to build a network of end-users and discuss the evolving future trends of biologics manufacturing processes and technologies, challenges and process intensification.
Further, according to the statement, “While the benefits of next-generation bioprocessing are clear, there are multiple pathways to success and many options across a range of disciplines must be considered. For some applications and biomanufacturers, the focus will be on improving unit operation’s interoperability; for others, the goal will be connected or fully continuous processing…..”
This bioforum will provide the latest insights on delivering increased speed, greater flexibility and enhanced quality while reducing the cost and risks of navigating the evolving biopharma landscape. Industry experts from pharma companies like Sun Pharma, Intas Pharma, Serum Institute of India, and ICT Mumbai, among several others will be a part of this bioforum, concluded the statement.
