India pharma and healthcare funding falls to $256.7M in September 2026

Funding across HealthTech, Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors stood at $256.7M across 22 rounds

According to a Tracxn report, funding in the HealthTech, Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors in India stood at $256.7M across 22 rounds in September 2026. The funding was 30.87 per cent lower than the previous month and 99.85 per cent higher than the same month last year.

The data covers September 1 to September 30, 2026. The previous month refers to August 1 to August 31, 2026, while the same month last year refers to September 1 to September 30, 2025.

Funding in September 2026 stood at $256.7M, compared with $371.3M in August 2026. Funding in October 2025 stood at $161.8M, followed by $25.3M in November, $162.1M in December, $177.1M in January 2026, $51.5M in February, $235.7M in March, $305.8M in April, $119.0M in May, $106.4M in June, $80.6M in July and $371.3M in August.

The stagewise funding split in September 2026 comprised 63.1 per cent late-stage funding, 31.6 per cent early-stage funding and 5.3 per cent seed funding.

The top deals in September 2026 included Linux Laboratories and Ultrahuman, with $70.0M each, followed by Nua with $50.0M, Marengo Asia Healthcare with $41.9M, Disha Health with $4.6M, Rio Health with $4.5M and Fundly with $4.0M.

Among the most active venture capital investors, Peak XV Partners participated in two rounds involving Nua and August AI. Equentis Wealth Advisory Services participated in two rounds involving MeduLance and DocPharma, while Qualcomm Ventures participated in one round involving Ultrahuman.
