Dr Ranjit Barshikar honoured with Quality Champion – GOLD award by QCI and NBQP

It is in recognition of his “Outstanding professional achievements, commitments and contributions in improving quality in the pharma industry.”

Dr Ranjit Barshikar, a pharma veteran was recently conferred with the ‘Quality Champion – GOLD Award’ by Quality Council of India, a Joint venture of Govt. of India and Indian Industries.

This award is in recognition of Dr Barshikar’s “outstanding Professional achievements, commitments and contributions in improving Quality in pharma industry”.

Quality Council of India (QCI) is an organisation set up by the Government of India with Indian Industry. QCI, National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP) and DL Shah Trust Mumbai jointly announce “Quality Champion – GOLD” Award.

Dr Barshikar has 50+ years of experience in pharma industry.

Currently, Dr Barshikar is United Nations- MPP Geneva Adviser; CEO- QbD International (Quality by Design / CGMP Consulting) and Member of Editorial Board of Journal of Generic Medicines – England.

He is an expert on Quality by Design/Data Integrity/CAPA/Quality Culture and various other CGMP subjects. He has worked with several pharma organisations that include Pfizer, Ranbaxy, Sun Pharma, Lyka Labs, Cancer Research Institute Mumbai etc.

He was nominated as an IPA expert Geneva, for new ICH Expert working Group-Geneva, on CTD QOS.
