CCSI cleanroom training course held in Hyderabad

The course in India is officially accredited by ICCCS

The second edition of the two-day associate level certification course on cleanroom technology theory and practice was recently held in Hyderabad. This is India’s only course officially accredited by International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies (ICCCS), Netherlands. Contamination Control Society of India (CCSI) is a member of ICCCS.

50 candidates registered, of which 47 appeared for and passed the written examination. Six persons from overseas were among the participants.

The following topics were covered:

  • Airborne particle counting –theory and terminology
  • Air flow & differential pressure measurement
  • HEPA filter testing & standards parts 1&2
  • Understanding and implementing New ISO 14644-1 & 2 cleanroom standards
  • Cleanroom protocol, gowning and housekeeping
  • Airflow visualisation studies
  • FAQs on particle counting and HEPA filter testing
  • Practical demonstration on proper use of particle counter, aerosol photometer, smoke generator, air capture hood

The faculty comprised industry stalwarts Sheesh Gulati and Sant Advani.
