Ami Lifesciences has appointed Amit Kaptain as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. He will be responsible for building business strategy and long-standing global partnerships with leading pharma companies (including big pharma and innovators) by developing products in niche therapeutic areas, and, thereby, becoming a reliable partner of choice from India, a company statement said.
With over years of experience in the API industry, Kaptain is a seasoned professional in driving sales, marketing and operations across global markets, and has worked with large Indian MNCs like Dr Reddy’s, Ranbaxy and Sun Pharma. Prior to joining Ami Lifesciences, he worked as COO at Aurore Lifesciences, among his other stints at different places.
