Torrent Pharma has appointed Aman Mehta as Director on the Board of the company from 1st August, 2022, a statement from Torrent Pharma notified.
During his tenure with Torrent, he has worked in both power and pharma sectors. At Torrent Power, he was involved at a challenging point in the business journey and was instrumental in bringing about a customer orientation transformation within the distribution business and also made noteworthy contribution in enhancing efficiency in operations, the statement said.
Further, according to the statement, he has been the Executive Director of the company, and heads the India business, along with corporate HR. His key achievement has been the integration of the Unichem acquisition.
With Mehta’s appointment, the third-generation leadership begins taking charge at Torrent Pharma. An economics graduate from Boston University, and an MBA from Columbia University, Mehta had joined the group in 2013.
