Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Drug firm Alkem Laboratories Samprada Singh passed away on Saturday July 27. A pharma industry veteran with over 43 years of experience, Singh founded Mumbai-based Alkem Laboratories along with his younger brother Basudeo Narayan Singh, in 1973.
The company is today among the top 10 pharma companies in India and manufactures and sells pharmaceutical generics, formulations and neutraceutricals in India and over 50 countries
