Ties up with Italy-based Labo Cosprophar, to launch two new products for hair & skin care

RPG Life Sciences has announced its foray into cosmetology. It has entered a technical collaboration with Italian cosmetic company Labo Cosprophar. The company is in-licensing two research-based products to be launched in the Indian cosmetic market this July. A separate division has been created to market these unique products titled Crescina and Fillerina, specialising in hair-fall control and anti-aging, respectively.

Crescina is a product designed for hair-regrowth with nine patents worldwide. Reportedly, it is a blend of specialised actives which work to activate hair follicle stem cells that results in development of new hair and essential peptides and hydrolyzed ingredients provide strength to hair.

Fillerina is a product for anti-aging treatment with Swiss patent. Reportedly, Fillerina is the first dermo-cosmetic filler for external use. Fillerina is a mix of filler gel and nourishing cream which, when combined, results in uplifting aged skin and provides a remarkable outcome within two weeks.

We recognise the need for research-based result-oriented treatments in hair-loss and anti-ageing segments in India. Labo has a Switzerland-based research centre and the experience of developing a wide range of patented products in hair, skin and body care. Their products have presence in over 33 countries including Europe, UK, US and Asia. We are confident that both these products will be ideal to fill the need gap in respective therapies,” said CT Renganathan, Managing Director, RPG Life Sciences.
