Amneal Pharmaceuticals inaugurates Rs 135 crore office in Ahmedabad
The 3.35 lakh sq ft facility will accommodate around 1,200 employees and support the company’s operations in India
Amneal Pharmaceuticals has inaugurated its new administrative office in Ahmedabad, with an investment of approximately Rs 135 crore ($15 million), to support its teams in India and strengthen collaboration across its global business.
Located on Cliantha Road, Ahmedabad, the office spans approximately 3.35 lakh square feet and will accommodate around 1,200 employees. The facility is designed to support Amneal’s workforce, bring key teams together, strengthen collaboration and provide infrastructure for the company’s operations in India.
Amneal has expanded its capabilities in India across manufacturing, research and development, quality and commercial operations, including its commercial office in Mumbai. These operations form part of the company’s global network, which spans the US, India and Ireland. In August, the company acquired Kashiv BioSciences, expanding its global biosimilar development and manufacturing capabilities.
“This new Ahmedabad office reflects Amneal’s continued investment in the people and capabilities that support its global business. India is an important part of our network, complementing our significant and growing U.S. manufacturing footprint,” said Chirag Patel, co-founder and co-chief executive officer of Amneal. “Across our operations, we are investing in scientific expertise, manufacturing and infrastructure to support sustainable growth and expand access to high-quality, affordable medicines.”

Amneal is also advancing plans for two greenfield manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, focused on peptide synthesis and sterile fill-finish manufacturing. These projects form part of the company’s investment in capabilities to support its future portfolio.
