Corona Remedies commences capacity expansion at Bhayla facility
Expansion increases tablet and capsule production capacity from December 22, 2025
Corona Remedies has announced the commencement of capacity expansion for the commercial production of tablets and capsules at its Bhayla manufacturing facility, effective December 22, 2025. The expansion is intended to address market demand and increase in-house production capacity.
Following the expansion, the installed capacity of the Bhayla facility will increase by 400 million units, resulting in an additional available capacity of 240 million units. The company stated that the development supports production planning and supply chain operations.
The expansion has been funded through internal accruals. According to the company, the initiative is expected to support operational processes and supply chain management.
As of March 31, 2025, the Bhayla facility had an installed capacity of 852.80 million units, with a capacity utilisation rate of 93.58 per cent. The company said the expansion aligns with its plans to scale operations in line with market requirements.
