Prima Nature Care launches sea buckthorn-based phyto-medicines in India

Delhi-based Prima Nature Care has recently launched the first-ever sea buckthorn-based phyto-medicine at an event in New Delhi. The event was presided over by Faggan Singh Kulaste, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr PR Goyal, CMD, PRG Medicare, AC Varshney, Former Vice Chancellor, Mansukh D Vasava – Member of Parliament and Ex Union Minister and Ramsingh Rathwa, Member of Parliament.

Sea buckthorn is valued for its antioxidant, cardio-protective, anti-atherogenic, anti-diabetic, hepatoprotective, anti-carcinogenic, immunomodulating, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and vasodilating effects. Found in Himalayas, the wonder plant came to the attention of public when Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Former President, India, invited the scientist community to conduct research on its health benefits.

Sea buckthorn-based phyto-medicine by Prima Nature Care is the result of three decades of research. The formulation is reportedly patented in the US, France, Germany and Italy and now will be available in India where research conducted by Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, SRM University, Chennai and Adesh University, Punjab has proven the positive effects of phyto-medicines in the treatment of major life style diseases. The clinical trials of phyto-medicine have been conducted over 30,000 patients and it showed remarkable improvements in the conditions of patients with various diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, obesity and arthritis.

Commenting upon the launch, Devender K Mittal, Chairman, Prima Nature Care said, “Research have proven its efficacy to treat disease caused by neuro-degenerative and cardiovascular disorders, as well as other serious disease and ailments like diabetes, arthritis, burn wounds and liver disorders.”
